Books are often underutilized, but I still love them!  I always keep in mind that the author spent hundreds if not thousands of hours creating the book, not to mention their experience with the subject, and spending $20-$25 acknowledges the authors' hard work while providing interesting and valuable information for me as reader/practitioner.  

I'm one of those crazy people that will only buy a book if the studies in the references are good and line up with the content (there are a few best sellers that didn't meet my standards, and are thus not listed on here!).  The following have passed my "test"...
